Every year our Lent Term is kicked off with our annual game of Convoy, a game that always brightens up the January days. Convoy is unique to Maidwell Hall, the rules can be complicated but all the children are experts!

Always played on a January afternoon in a large field behind the school, it is a brilliant team game and involves lots of running around and mud. It is called Convoy as it is based on the World War II convoys that protected allied merchant shipping from U-Boat attack.

It is a popular and unique team game and a perfect way to occupy a cold January afternoon whilst also giving the pupils lots of fresh air....and teaching them some history into the bargain.
