The new school year has officially begun at Maidwell Hall, and we’ve loved welcoming our boarders back today, with our day children joining us tomorrow. The excitement is in the air as everyone settles in, shares summer stories, and gets ready for another fantastic term ahead.

Today has been all about pre-season training, making beds, mowing lawns, and hoovering — getting everything in tip-top shape for the new term. The children have wasted no time exploring the grounds, building dens, and making the most of our outdoor spaces, reminding us all why it’s so great to be back at Maidwell Hall.

While the weather may suggest summer is over, the children’s sunny spirits have brightened up the day. There’s been laughter on the swings, adventures in the woods, and a special treat for our Form I pupils (Year 8s), who were thrilled to explore the grounds on two wheels — a privilege that has brought huge excitement and set the tone for a year of leadership and fun.

It’s great to see the Maidwell community back together, ready to embrace the year ahead with energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
