Maidwell Hall featured in the Tatler Schools Guide once again
Posted on: 09/09/2024We are thrilled to be featured once again in the prestigious Tatler Schools Guide, with a wonderfully glowing review that perfectly captures the heart and soul of Maidwell Hall.
The review highlights what makes our school so special — from our beautiful setting and thoughtfully designed spaces to our kind, polite, and cheerful pupils, who embody the Maidwell spirit.
"Founder Oliver Wyatt used to say that his charges were the sort who, when invited to stay for the weekend would be invited back. According to one recent visitor, this still holds true of the 'exceptionally polite but chatty and smiling' youngsters."
Tatler also praises our stunning mansion, with its impressive library, redecorated dormitories, and picturesque gardens and lake — the perfect environment for learning, playing, and growing in confidence.
"The dorms, their common rooms and bathrooms have been redecorated, and the classrooms have been relocated so that they overlook the picturesque gardens and lake."
The review also celebrates the personalised approach of Headmaster Anthony Rendall, now in his third year, who continues to foster an atmosphere where every child is known, valued, and celebrated.
"This academic year is Anthony Rendall's third as head of this school, and he continues to cultivate an atmosphere in which every child is known and celebrated as an individual."
We are immensely proud of our wonderful school community and delighted to see it recognised in the Tatler Schools Guide once again. A huge thank you to our pupils, staff, and families for making Maidwell Hall such a special place to learn and grow.
