Last week, Maidwell Hall proudly hosted its first-ever 'Musician of the Year' competition, a celebration of the incredible musical talent within our school.

The competition was expertly adjudicated by Matt Sandy, Head of Vocals at Rugby School, who was thoroughly impressed by the high standard of performances.

Our six finalists and two 'Rising Stars' took to the stage to perform in front of an audience of parents, families, and friends. Each child showcased their musical skills and confidence, making the event a memorable and inspiring afternoon.

A special thank you to Molly Lawes, our Head of Music, for her dedication and hard work in preparing the children for this fantastic event. Her passion for music continues to inspire our pupils to develop their talents and shine on stage.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s competition – what a brilliant addition to Maidwell Hall’s calendar!
